1.5 Patient History
The patient history will be displayed on the right-hand section of the screen. In this list you can easily see if the script was Accepted, the date of dispensing, the script number, the quantity that was dispensed, the drug dispensed, the directions, the prescriber, the date of prescribing, the amount of repeats taken and still available, the price and also the pharmacist or dispenser of the script.
The first column is the PBS status of the script – Green is Accepted and Red is Rejected, No Colour indicates it is a Private script or not applicable to send to PBS, like an Owing, Deferred or Deleted script.
You can search this history by typing in the search box and the results will filter down. You can also easily select your Owing or Repeat scripts by clicking on the buttons. Owing Scripts will also have a little mobile phone symbol in the prescribed field.
When right-clicking on scripts, you are only shown the valid options. This is a Deferred script, so I am not given options to Un-Delete, Mark-Off Owing or Re-Serialise.
You can do some options in bulk by highlighting and using your control and shift keys. Some of these options include Edit, Change Patient, Copy to New Script, Re-Send to PBS, Re-Serialise or Re-print. The Patient History will also colour code whilst you’re dispensing. This helps to show any of the items that will have Drug Interactions. When highlighting the items within the History, the Drug Interaction colours are still valid and easily identified.
