1.2 Adding a New Patient, Prescriber or Dispenser
When adding a new Patient, Prescriber or Dispenser to the system, it is first best to search for them. If you’re unable to locate them, you can either click on the “Add New”, or your Insert key. When the relevant details have loaded, you can use your Enter, Tab or Arrow keys to navigate around the panel. Corum Clear Dispense also gives you multiple different options to save Address, Phone or Email types. These can include Business, Home, Nursing Home or Work. Some fields will remain Inactive until valid information is added, like the Medicare Number is greyed out until you give Consent to store the information. In the Other section, there are some patient-specific settings, like Date of Birth and Co-Payment Discounting. Set these as required. Once you’ve updated all the required information, select OK to Save and close.
