1.6a Functionality in the Dispensing Panel – Search Boxes

The Corum Clear Dispense look-up boxes are quite intuitive. In the Patient, Prescriber or Dispenser fields, you can type part of the first and last name in any order and it will filter down the results. In the patient search you can also search by Medicare Number, suburb or address. In the Prescriber, you can search by Prescriber Number and in the Dispenser fields you can search by initials.

In the Item Type, you can click in this field or Alt +Down arrow to give you a full list of the options. To select a value, you can type the first letter of the option and it will update accordingly. For example, ‘C’ for Continued Dispensing, ‘S’ for S3 Recordable, ‘O’ for Other Recordable Supply, ‘P’ for Private Script and ‘P’ (again) for PBS Script.

In Item Prescribed, this is what was actually prescribed by the Doctor. You can search by Brand Name, Generic Name, Strength, Form Type or PBS Code.

In the Item Dispensed, Alt + Down arrow will give you a full list of the generics. Depending on your shortcut keys, you can also use something like F12 to give the same list. You then use your arrow keys to select the one required.

When Dispensing, if the drug requires an Authority or a Streamline Authority Number these fields will become valid. When choosing a Streamline Authority Number, you can either Alt + Down arrow to give the full list, or just begin typing the number.
