What is a Debtor?

- A debtor in LOTS is an account holder. This could be a customer to the pharmacy, a staff member or even another pharmacy. An account can be used when a person would prefer to pay one lump sum each month, rather than paying each time they visit the pharmacy.

- The Debtors module in LOTS loads with all valid customer accounts listed. You can search for the debtor at the bottom of the screen. The search criteria is the first letter of their first name followed by all of their last name. Alternatively you can go up to the search option and search for the Debtor, Statement or Invoice.

- On the right-hand side of the Debtors module there is a selection of dates, with the word Current at the top. These dates are when the accounts were rolled over or aged. “Current” is the existing month’s account. Most pharmacies roll over their accounts once a month, but you can roll over whenever you like.
