Setting up and using Account Classes in LOTS

- Debtor Classes are a way you can group your customers. You may want to have them grouped by nursing home, staff or location. Creating an Account Class is quite easy. Have a debtor you want to create the new class for highlighted, and go to Tools, Edit this Customer, and click on the Account tab.

- In the section of Account Details where it has Account Class, type in the class that you want to create. Once you have typed in the Account Class, click away from that field, and it will prompt if you want to create a new class. Select yes. This Account Class will now be available to all account customers in the drop down menu.

- You can now use this Account Class to roll over these statements over separately, view and print their accounts together, or to use in the Point Of Sale Stock Transfer option.
